영화 <Lady Bird>의 오프닝 시퀀스. 주인공 크리스틴은 ‘Lady Bird’라는 예명을 스스로 부여합니다. 특별한 삶을 원하는 소녀는 자신의 흔한 이름이 싫기 때문이죠. 이처럼 소녀는 자신에게 없는 모습을 선망하며 자신을 이루는 것들을 온전히 사랑하지 못합니다. 그러나 마음속 깊이 자신을 이루는 것들을 사랑하고 있었음을 깨닫게 됩니다. 소녀가 싫증냈던 순간들, 선망하던 순간들, 그리고 깨닫고 원래의 모습으로 돌아온 그 모든 순간 하나하나가 빠짐없이 모여 지금의 소녀를 이루었다고 생각했습니다. 그래서 영화의 색감을 따라 소녀만의 모습이 만들어져 가는 장면을 표현했습니다. 마지막 장면에서는 앞선 모든 장면이 모여 소녀의 전신을 이루는 것을 볼 수 있을 거예요.
