서울 도심을 가로지르는 한양도성은 단순한 문화유산이 아니라 현대 서울과 중첩되는 복합적 시스템으로 기능하고 있으며 도시와 자연, 과거와 현재를 잇는 틈의 구조다. 본 프로젝트는 한양도성을 중심으로 교통, 경제, 인구, 생활환경 등의 데이터를 취합하여, 성곽과 도시의 관계를 가시화하고 공간적으로 재해석하여 시간·감각·해석의 세 층위를 담은 ‘Interpretive Center’를 제안한다. 이곳은 성곽 위에 자리하며, 계단은 가벼운 유리로 구성되어 마치 떠 있는 듯한 경험을 제공한다. 기둥 또한 주변 환경과 어우러지는 나무 재료로 계획되어, 방문자는 도시 속에서도 자연에 스며드는 듯한 감각을 체험할 수 있다.
