『진화하는 고기, 변화하는 인류』 우리가 알던 육류는 사라졌다. 가축은 독이 되었고, 인간은 식물성 단백질로 연명한다. 그러나 원생생물로 숙성된 고기만이 먹을 수 있다. 외딴 정육점의 주인 조지 오거스트는 살을 빚고 숨기며 거래한다. 욕망은 다시 깨어나고, 맛은 지배의 수단이 된다. 『The Zoa Butcher’s』는 식량의 미래 대신 인간을 다시 쓰는 욕망과 권력의 이야기를 드러낸다.

Evolving Flesh, Changing Humanity “The meat we once knew is already gone.” Livestock have turned toxic, and humanity survives on plant-based protein. Yet one kind of flesh remains edible—meat aged through protozoan fermentation. George August, the solitary butcher, shapes and hides this forbidden flesh, trading it as desire awakens once more.
