SAEG은 ‘Senior Active & Ease’의 약자로, ANTI-AGING이 아닌 ACTIVE-AGING의 시대가 도래하며 등장한 새로운 형태의 올림픽이다. 은퇴를 하며 시간적 여유가 많아진 중장년층이 그동안의 직장생활에서 해방되어 끝나지 않는 여름방학을 맞이한다는 컨셉으로, 활기차고 가슴 뛰는 인생 제 2막을 시작한다. 이곳에서는 경쟁보다 참여에 초점을 맞추어 부담없이 참가할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 은퇴 이후의 삶은 쇠퇴기가 아닌 하고 싶은 것을 마음껏 할 수 있는 최상의 환경으로, SAEG에 참가함으로써 자신만의 새로운 리듬을 찾는 또 다른 시간의 세계로 나아간다. 노년의 삶을 재인식하고, 스포츠의 라이프스타일화로 몸과 마음이 액티브한 노년생활을 보낼 수 있도록 한다.
