우리가 일상 속 스쳐가는 길 위에는 관리 받지 못한 채 방치되고 있는 국가유산들이 있다. 소외된 국가유산의 관람환경은 여전히 개선되지 않고 장기적으로 방치될 뿐 아니라 우리의 기억에서 점점 멀어지게 되었다. 따라서 소외된 국가유산을 쉽게 즐기고 친근하게 다가갈 수 있는 이미지로 변모시켜 시민의 관심을 촉구하고자 한다. ‘한칸’은 생소했던 국가유산과 단 둘이 마주하고 이야기하는 듯한 느낌을 주는 작은 유리 전시관이다. 야외에 있어 움직일 수 없는 국가유산을 한 자리에 오래 머물러 있는 터줏대감으로 설정하고, 이것과 대화하는 컨셉이다. 한칸 안에 들어서면 유리관 밖으로 국가유산이 보이고 내부에서 이루어지는 다양한 인터렉션으로 국가유산과 소통하는 새로운 경험을 선사한다.
