Eyes Everywhere

우리는 일상 속에서 타인의 시선을 끊임없이 마주하며 살아갑니다. 타인의 시선에 자신을 비추는 행위가 반복될수록, 그 시선은 내면에 스며들어 스스로를 통제하는 감시자가 됩니다. 《 Eyes Everywhere 》는 이 감시 구조로부터 탈출하는 이야기가 아닌, 그 안을 깊이 파고들어 구조 자체를 인식의 대상으로 삼는 과정을 보여줍니다. 눈을 마음의 창이자 거울, 감옥으로 비유하여 이와 연결되는 투과, 왜곡, 흡수의 방식으로 시선이 만드는 불안과 억압의 메커니즘을 드러냅니다. 이야기가 끝난 후에도 시선의 세계는 사라지지 않으며, 우리는 여전히 이 구조 속에 있습니다. 진정한 공포의 극복은 대상을 완전히 회피하는 것이 아닌, 그 구조를 과감히 직면하려는 의지에서 시작됩니다.

As this gaze repeats, it seeps inward, becoming an inner observer that disciplines the self. 《Eyes Everywhere》 is not about escaping surveillance but confronting it—treating the structure as an object of perception. The eye becomes a window, a mirror, and a prison of the mind, using visual languages of permeation, distortion, and absorption to expose the mechanisms of anxiety and repression shaped by the gaze. Even when the narrative ends, the gaze remains; true overcoming lies not in avoidance, but in facing the structure.
