전 세계적으로 이민자 및 난민(diaspora)의 수는 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 이들은 새로운 사회 속에서 정체성의 차이로 인해 깊은 소외감과 심리적 고립을 경험합니다. 그러나 기존의 상담 시스템과 프로그램은 구직, 교육과 같은 단편적인 측면에만 한정되어 있을 뿐, 상처와 진정한 내면 회복에 도달하지 못하는 경우가 많습니다. 디아스포라를 위한 심리 상담 테라피 센터, Diasoul은 이들의 내면의 상처에 깊이 있게 접근하고, 사회에 동화되기 위해 자신을 포기하는 것이 아닌 ‘자신을 온전히 이해하고 유지하며 사회 속으로 녹아드는 방식의 치유’를 전달하고자 합니다. 이는 단순한 적응이 아닌 ‘자기 정체성의 긍정과 사회적 연대감의 회복’을 목표로 합니다.
