ABYSS(심연)
시작은 “당신이 그 심연(Abyss)을 오랫동안 들여다본다면, 심연 또한 당신을 애옹”이라는 문장에서 출발한다. 어둠 속에서 눈빛만 드러나는 검은 고양이의 형상을 모티브로, 낯설고 두려운 존재가 어떻게 친밀한 동반자로 변해가는지를 담아냈다. 스토리의 흐름은 눈보라를 피해 집 안으로 들어온 정체불명의 검은 생명체와, 이를 경계하며 맞닥뜨리는 주인공의 시선으로 전개된다. 주인공은 그 존재를 파악하고 내보내려 하지만, 결국 악몽 속에서 불안을 마주한 뒤 진정한 교감을 경험하게 된다. 마지막 장면에서 주인공의 곁에 몸을 기댄 검은 고양이는 더 이상 두려움의 대상이 아닌, 마음을 연 ‘심연’으로 자리한다. 이 과정은 낯선 타자와 마주했을 때의 불안과 호기심, 그리고 신뢰와 이해로 이어지는 심리적 변화를 보여준다.
